BLOGREA Is Born!
Posted by: | CommentsWelcome to BLOGREA. The name of this website was created to be something easy to remember, simple to say, and to stand for something. In its literal sense, the name stands for Blog real estate agent. It is pronounced, (Blog-re-a). It is going to, by the time I get everything in place, stand for and represent, something that every real estate professional is going to need to be doing, if they want to prosper, and possible even be in the real estate business, within the next few years, and possible sooner.
My name is James Michael Swartz, and I want to welcome you to this website, BLOGREA, Blogs for Real Estate Agents, and so much more. I created this website to be a website for Realtors, and real estate professionals, to be able to start taking control of their business. The Internet is about 15 years old. We have come a long way as far as advertising on the Internet. In that period of time, we have seen many changes. We still have a long ways to go before we get to the point where people understand how to use the Internet.
When I talk about people not understanding how to use the Internet. Most people understand know, enough to use the Internet as far as e-mail, finding a store near them, shopping online, things of that nature. There is a lot more that you can do on the Internet and the things I’ve mentioned so far are just tip of the iceberg, so to speak, and really not even that.
I am in the real estate business in Scottsdale Arizona. I am the owner/broker of Az Realty results L.L.C., located in Scottsdale Arizona. I started my real estate career, like most people start their real estate career. I had a desire to help people buy and sell property, and to make a good income for myself in the process. I started my real estate career, with no experience in sales. I had no business experience. I was not in any previous career that even gave me any form of lead generation.
I started out just like most people start out, by talking to everyone that I could meet, telling them that I was in the real estate business, and asking them if they wanted to buy or sell a house. I have also tried farming neighborhoods. I have sent out direct mail postcards. I have sent out just listed and just sold postcards. I have walked my farm and knocked door to door in the middle of summer in Arizona.
I have purchased leads through company’s online. I have spent as much as $2000 per month on sales leads. I figured just like most real estate professionals figure, as long as I was making money everything was okay. If you look at the numbers even, if you sell a $100,000 house at 3% commission per month, you’re still making more money than your spending for the leads. Even when the leads cost you $2000 per month.
Realtors and real estate professionals, understand that they need to have a website on the Internet. You cannot take a listing without the seller asking you where their listing is going to be posted. I really doubt you’re going to get very many listings if you do not have a website on the Internet.
I have tried countless service providers, to create my websites on the Internet. The companies that I used to create my websites came from different sources. I would attend seminars and be sold on the latest and greatest website promotional development. Naturally, the seminar promoters were selling contact software, real estate websites, agent follow-up systems, Realtor newsletters, expired listing letters, etc.
The one thing I noticed about any company that said they could create a website for me on the Internet, is they all stated they could get me on page one of Google. The price range for the service, and the quality of websites, and their service, was as vast as night and day.
Since I started my real estate career, I have always had a website on the Internet. I have always had someone else create my websites. I had never received any leads, or any direct business, as a result of any of my websites. Sure, all of the websites looked great. All of the website companies performed the task of creating my website. None of them created leads for me, except the lead generating companies I paid for.
In my real estate career I have seen a wide range of markets. I have been through normal markets, buyers markets, sellers markets, and the current market that we are in. I have seen feast and famine, as far as income goes, during my real estate career. I have had months where I’ve made more money than most make in a year, maybe several years. I have also seen times where I didn’t make a sale in a 30 day period.
Like most real estate professionals, I reached a point in my business, where I had to a evaluate the amount of time I was spending, versus the reward, in terms of income, I was receiving. I started looking for new ways to do business. I tried flipping houses, i.e. practically built a new house from scratch. I tried new avenues of lead generating, to get new buyer and seller leads.
Then I got an e-mail from an Internet marketer and life would never be the same again. I was being told there was a world full of people that were making millions of dollars online, and all they needed was a laptop and an Internet connection. I like most people, thought that sounded great. I could spend less time working, put everything on auto pilot, and just cashed the checks.
We all know, things are not what they always seem to be, when we first started looking at them. We can fast forward approximately 18 months, and here we are today. In my last 18 months of exploring the world of Internet marketing, I have worked with the products produced and created by some of the best Internet marketers on the planet. Internet gurus, as they are called, are capable and have made, several million dollars in less than 24 hours.
I know it’s hard to imagine that anyone could make millions of dollars within one 24-hour period selling anything, unless it was a Fortune 500 company, that was traded on the stock market and was worth, many many millions of dollars. I personally have spent approximately $30,000 on my Internet education.
I have spent 15 to 16 hour days six and seven days a week for the past 18 months learning everything I could learn about the Internet and how to sell anything on the Internet. I have personally met many of the top Internet marketing gurus. I have even been coached, one on one, by one that I consider to be among the best of the best.
I started researching and buying products and learning about the Internet and how to market on the Internet with the thought, like most, that I would start selling products on the Internet, put it all on autopilot, retire to some faraway place and enjoy life happily ever after. Then I decided to take a step back and look at everything from a different perspective. Then as they say, the light bulb came on.
I discovered what I had been missing in my real estate career. I learned what was necessary to market and sell on the Internet. I decided to combine the two worlds that I had become so familiar with the Internet and real estate.
I currently own over 250 domain names. I have accumulated all of those domain names within the last eight months, or at least most of them, within the last eight months. Some of the domain names that I have are not that great, as they were the ones i purchased, when I first started my Internet career. I have spent many hours doing keyword research to discover what people are typing, when they researching, buying or selling homes online.
I’m not sure if you’re aware of the statistics are not, and I’m not going to quote them to you here. I will tell you that, I predict, if you do not have an Internet presence, where your being found by people searching on the Internet, for someone to help them with their real estate needs in the near future, you will be out of business, or be looking for a new business to be.
In today’s online world, more and more people every day are using the Internet to start their search for someone to help them, buy, sell or rent a home or property, anywhere. There was a time where being on the Internet was just something that needed to be done, because buyers and sellers you worked with, wanted to see your websites. The buyers and sellers that you’ve worked with in the past, only used your website to either search property once you found the buyer through some other lead source, or your seller wanted to see their listing on the Internet. Someplace besides the MLS.
Today, you need to use the Internet in a different way. You need to stop relying on other people to provide you leads for your business on the Internet. I understand, that most, even myself, did not do any of our own web creation, because we did not understand, or have the time, that we thought it would take, to learn how to create our own websites on the Internet. That all changes for you, starting right here and now.
In my learning about the Internet, and all it had to offer, I have also discovered how to create my own websites. I’m not talking about some website that looks like a five-year-old created it. I am talking about professional looking real estate websites, that not only look professional, but perform professionally. I am talking about real estate websites, that actually generate buyer and seller leads.
I not only discovered how to create professional looking websites that would generate buyer and seller leads. I discovered how to many more things than just create a website. I now understand how to promote those websites to where they rank on page 1 of Google in multiple places. I’m talking about the ability to create automatic response to any of those buyer and seller leads the website generates.
I’m talking about the creation of advertising to promote the website with. I’m talking about other forms of advertising such as Web 2.0 properties. I’m talking about how to use a website to be a complete foundation for your real estate business, and not just something to look pretty.
I am now at a point in my business where I needed to create more per day, then I physically could accomplish myself. I decided the best way to train new people, when I hired them, would be to create step-by-step video instruction, so they could follow along and do every task, just as if I was doing it myself.
I have that system completed, and I decided that I should share my knowledge with the rest of the professionals that are in the same business as I am. I wish there was someone like myself that had created such a product, when I first started in my real estate career. I would have saved myself so much time, money and frustration, you name it. If there was such a product available, when I first started.
The system I have created, I have broken down into four different program levels. The four different levels of training have four different price structures and accomplish for different tasks.
The basic system, or the basic program, goes from the simplest things such as starting a Gmail account, to having a complete website, of your own, on the Internet, that you completely created entirely by your self. They are 14 videos in the basic program. Each and every video, is complete, A to Z., step-by-step. Looking over my shoulder as I capture everything on screen, and as i narrate everything I’m doing, and why I’m doing it. As I’m doing it.
The next level in the program is called the advanced program. In the advanced program, you’ll learn everything it takes to create a professional looking website that actually ranks better than 90% of the websites that I see on the Internet every day. The cost of either one of those programs is a fraction of what you would have to spend for any other company to do it for you. The benefit of doing it yourself, is first that you don’t have to rely on anyone but yourself to make it happen. Second, the websites that I teach you how to create, in the step-by-step videos, is better than 99% of the websites on the Internet. If not all of the websites I’ve seen.
